Terms and conditions of our services
1. Introduction
Welcome to Lofts La Paz! We appreciate you taking the time to read these Terms and Conditions of Service (the “Terms”), which govern the use of our platform, including our websites, booking engines, and other digital tools (collectively, the “Service”).
These Terms, together with the reservation confirmation sent via email (the “Booking Confirmation”), constitute the legal agreement between you and Lofts La Paz (“we”, “us”, “our”). They also govern any interaction or communication you maintain with us through the Service.
By using our Service or making a reservation, you expressly accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify the Terms at any time for operational, legal, or security reasons. Continued use of the Service following such changes implies your acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Definitions
Service: Our websites, booking engine, and digital tools.
Travel Provider/Host: Lofts La Paz or the owners of the managed units offering the accommodation.
Travel Services: Accommodations and additional services provided at our properties.
Content: Texts, comments, images, videos, and any material shared on the Service.
User or “You”: The person accessing or using the Service.
3. Rules and Restrictions
Each property managed by Lofts La Paz may have specific rules (house rules, quiet hours, pet policies), which you must accept upon booking. Violation of these rules may result in the cancellation of your reservation, loss of amounts paid, or denial of access to the accommodation.
4. Use of the Service
The Service is intended exclusively to allow the search and reservation of stays for personal use. By using it, you declare that:
You are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts.
You provide truthful and up-to-date information.
If booking for a third party, you have their authorization and are responsible for their compliance with these Terms.
It is prohibited to make false reservations, use automated software to extract data, or interfere with the operation of the site.
5. Booking Confirmation
You will receive a Booking Confirmation with the essential details of your stay. If you do not receive it within 24 hours, please contact us immediately through our official channels.
6. Prices, Payments, and Taxes
Prices: Prices are dynamic. We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors; in such cases, you may pay the difference or cancel without penalty.
Taxes: Prices include applicable taxes (VAT and Lodging Tax). Some municipal charges may be charged separately according to current regulations.
Payments: You authorize the verification of your payment method. Charges for international transactions or currency conversion are the responsibility of your financial institution.
7. Fraud and Security
If we detect suspicious activity, Lofts La Paz may cancel reservations or request additional information to validate the identity of the cardholder.
8. Changes and Cancellations
By the User: Modifications are subject to the cancellation policy selected at the time of booking. Administrative fees may apply.
By Lofts La Paz: We may cancel due to non-payment, technical errors, or force majeure (weather phenomena, etc.), offering alternatives or a refund as applicable.
Refunds: These will be processed to the original payment method within a period of 7 business days. Charges for services already rendered may not be refundable.
9. Stay-Specific Terms
Deposit: Some units require a refundable security deposit upon check-in.
No-Show: If you do not show up on the first night without prior notice, the reservation may be canceled in its entirety without the right to a refund.
10. International Travel
It is the guest's responsibility to have a valid passport and visas, and to comply with immigration and health requirements to enter Mexico. Lofts La Paz is not responsible for issues arising from incorrect documentation.
11. Intellectual Property
All site content (logos, photos of the apartments, texts) is the property of Lofts La Paz or its licensors. Any unauthorized use, copying, or reproduction is prohibited.
12. User Security and Scams
Our team will never ask for transfers to personal accounts via text messages, nor for gift cards. All transactions must be made through our official booking engine or methods authorized by Lofts La Paz.
13. Artificial Intelligence and Digital Tools
We may use AI tools to improve customer service or generate descriptions. This content is for informational purposes, and its use is at the user's own risk.
